We are proud to announce our upcoming Beer Festival this Whitsun Bank Holiday Weekend. Running from Saturday 25th to Monday 27th we will feature a range of local and national ales, some outside and some inside, in case the weather can’t make it’s mind up!
Also across the weekend we will have a Sausage BBQ on the Saturday and a Hog Roast on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Next week marks the start of our International Sausage Week!
Featuring Sausages from around the world including South African Boerwors, German Bratwurst, Spanish Chorizo, American Hot Dogs, French Toulouse and many more.
We will be creating different dishes featuring the worldly sausages and this will be available Monday 25th through until Saturday 2nd March both at lunch and for evening meals.

We’re very proud of our selection of Craft Beers at the WHT and we are very pleased to announce two new additions to the range.
Anchor Steam Beer from San Francisco is an amber coloured at 4.9% ABV and gets a lovely rich head from the brewing process which adds unusual depth and character to this craft beer
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is probably the most iconic of craft beers and started the revolution. This classic Pale Ale has Pine and Grapefruit aromas from the Cascade hops and comes in at a respectable 5.6% ABV.
Both are available at the bar now so pop in and give them a try!
Shrove Tuesday is on Tuesday February 12th and we are going to have a flipping good time at the WHT in offering up pancakes for you all to enjoy.
They will be available at both lunch and evening and including various sweet and savoury fillings.

We’re kicking off the year in style with some great live music from The Tuesday Club
This 8 piece, described as a mix of Roxy Music and Rocky Horror will be playing at the Tap on Saturday 19th December after our food service which ends at 8pm, so you could have something to eat before you dance!
They will also be joined on this night by some special guests so it promises to be a full night of fun!

Christmas is out the way and we have already turned our attention to events in the New Year and the next major event will be the return of our Burns Night Supper on Friday 25th January. Haggis, Neeps and Tatties will be on offer as well as our wide selection of Malt Whiskey and a Vegetarian Haggis will be available
