Roast Topside of Beef served with Yorkshire Pudding and Horseradish sauce
Roast Gammon glazed with Marmalade and Rosemary
Vegetarian Nut Cutlet, Sausages, Stuffing and Vegetarian Gravy
All our Roasts are served with Roast Potatoes, Honey Roast Parsnips and 3 Vegetables.

Our regular quizmaster Steve is away on holiday for the next couple of weeks so I will be stepping into the breach to read out the quiz this week.
Hopefully it will go better than the last time I held a microphone, a drunken rendition of Summer of ‘69 was the result!

This weeks curry is Sarson Machhi. This curry originates from the Punjab in Northern India and is a fish curry with a prodominent mustard flavour running through it.
The curry will be served with boiled rice and naan bread.
A side dish of poppadums and chutneys will also be available.

Last night’s quiz winners were “Thelma’s Fat Armpit” with a very good score of 52 points in what was considered a tough quiz.
Over 60 people took part, so thank you all for a fun night!

Recently we have numerous entertaining events on at the WHT, from the Independence Day BBQ to 59 1/2 birthday parties.
This, coupled with someone sending me some pictures, has given me an idea; a photograph competition.
I am looking for you to send in your photographs, old or new, of you or your friends enjoying yourselves as the WHT. I will judge the winner based on one criteria, how much the photograph epitomises the atmosphere at the Tap. The leader so far is one of our regulars, Angela, who sent in the photograph above.
The winner will get a bottle of house wine (either Red, White or Rose).
