  • International Food Night Reminder

    If the weather keeps it up then all is set fair for our South African “Braai”, next Thurday 24th June. A local South African butcher has been sourced and alongside our regular meat supplier Butler’s we will be getting a range of traditional African meats. Look forward to seeing you there!

    Here’s last nights winning quiz team “Always the Bridesmaid” who scored a hefty 52 points. They edged out “Triggers Broom” who came in second, after a stewards enquiry, with 51 points. Well done to all teams who took part.

  • Morris Men at the Tap

    To add to an already eclectic evening of Indian curry and drunken Americans, the St Albans Morris Men danced outside the pub as part of the St Albans Festival. A great performance rounded off a bizzare but enjoyable evening.

  • Monday Curry Night

    After a successful curry night last night we’re looking forward to next week. Monday June 21st brings us the turn of Caribbean curry. Whilst we toyed with the idea of curried goat, a caribbean classic, we’ve settled on Chicken. Expect a tropical taste sensation!

    The White Hart Tap will be joining our American cousins in celebrating American Independence Day on Sunday 4th July. Our new American barman and his cousin, a tap regular, have joined the organising committee to ensure it is an authentic American affair.
