Tonight’s curry is Chicken Bhuna.

A curry originating from India, bhuna is a medium spiced curry with green chillies and green peppers.

A side dish of Onion Bhaji’s served with Mint Yoghurt Dip will also be available.

Next weeks curry is Prawn Patia.

Patia is a combination of hot, sweet & sour and is traditionally cooked with prawns or fish.

Patia was brought to India from Persia by the Parsees around 1000 years ago.

This weeks curry will be from Morocco.

Ras El Hanout is a North African spice blend and means “Top Of The House”, which is to say the best spices in the local shop would be used to make the spice blend.

The Ras El Hanout will be cooked with Lamb, Apricots & Vegetables to create something truly “Out of Africa”.

The curry will be on Monday 12th September.

Jalfrezi is a classic Indian dish cooked with Peppers and Green Chillies.

The curry will be served with Pilaff Rice and Naan Bread.

Bunny ChowBunny Chow is a slang term for a South African street snack consisting of hollowed out bread filled with curry.

The bunny chow was created in Durban during the 1940′s which was home to a large community of people of Indian origin.

Our South African chef, Dominique, will be doing a WHT version consisting of minced lamb served in a crusty roll and the curry will be served with traditional South African Sambals.

This dish originates from India and is pieces of Tandoori Chicken in a delectable creamy sauce.

The dish will be served with Basmati Rice and Naan Bread.

curryThis Monday’s curry, on the 9th August, will be Lamb Shaslik.

Shaslik is originally a Russian dish and means skewered meat. This dish uses Indian spicing then the meat is skewered and grilled on the skewer.

The Lamb will be served over a bed of spiced rice.

curryTomorrow nights curry is Brazilian Chicken.

Granted not a country renowned for their curries but due to foreign influences from the Far East they have developed a taste for the spicy cuisine.

The curry is mild to medium on the spice scale and will be served with coriander rice.
