The 10th Anniversary Lion Hart Beer Festival is nearly upon us. The festival will take place from Friday 26th August 6pm until Bank Holiday Monday 29th August.
As usual the festival will take place across both pubs, the White Lion, Sopwell Lane and ourselves.
This year we will have over 50 different ales, ciders and perries including our own brew of Lion Hart Ale!!!
At the WHT we will be having various events across the weekend to compliment your drinking, these include; a curry tent on Saturday evening featuring 4 different curries; live music from The Fabulous Beatles in the pub also on Saturday evening; a gourmet burger BBQ on Sunday and an Hog Roast on BH Monday.

As you may be aware this weekend is our St Georges Easter Beer Festival, as part of the festivities will be holding a Sausage Festival on Saturday 23rd April, St Georges Day.
We will be showcasing 12 different varities of Sausage produced by local butchers, all of which will be served up with bread, homemade chutney and mustard. What more could you need to go with a pint of ale!!
Come along for a Bangering good time with plenty of Sizzle (Couldn’t help myself, sorry!)
The Lion Hart Beer Festival is making a new appearance this year over the Easter Weekend.
The White Lion, Sopwell Lane and ourselves will be hosting the event starting Good Friday, 22nd April and running until Monday 25th April.
The Beer Festival will feature over 35 different real ales, ciders and perries!
Also over that weekend is St Georges day so the Beer Festival will have an English theme (being called Lion Hart should help).
As well as a BBQ all weekend at both pubs, on St Georges Day (Saturday 23rd) there will be a Hog Roast at the White Lion and at the White Hart Tap our Sausage Festival will be making an appearance.
On the Sunday there is live music on at the White Lion featuring Pete Waters and on the Monday at the Tap there is a family day with free food for the kids!
