Live Music

Another Fine Mesh are playing live at the WHT on Saturday 11th June from 8.30pm onwards.

This local band play a mix of covers from the 60′s, 70′s, 80′s & 90′s.

Sausage Festival Top Sausage is……

The Sausage Festival has come to an end and after a week of intensive eating and voting and I can now announce the winning sausage from our first WHT Sausage Festival……

And the winner is…

Pork & Harvest Pale Ale from A & C Meats!!

This top sausage was actually made especially for the beer festival and was designed by WHT and made by A & C Meats!

And before the cries of “it’s rigged” start pouring in you will have to come and see why it got the top vote, the sausage will now be a regular feature on the WHT menu.

Kitchen Staff Required

We are currently recruiting for the below role at the Tap as we look to expand our food offering and meet the increasing demand from our customers.

Kitchen Assistant/Cook required to work in local pub kitchen with very good reputation for home cooked food. Successful applicant will have experience of working in a commercial kitchen and be required to work under own initiative. Initially there will be 20-25 hours available rising to 35+ once induction and training period has been completed.
